Appointment and Payment Policies

Please respect our intention to provide the same high standard professional service to all.   

We ask everyone to refrain from wearing strong scents (perfumes, essential oils, hair care products, fabric softener) and to refrain from smoking prior to entering the clinic. Also, make sure to turn off your phone prior to entering the clinic space or leave it in your car.

If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule prior to your appointment.

We kindly request a 2 WEEK WINDOW between ANY VACCINE OR IMMUNOTHERAPY and your appointment. If you are participating in ANY DRUG or VACCINE CLINICAL TRIAL please let us know PRIOR to your appointment. 

If it has been 1 or more years since you were treated at Beaufort Acupuncture or in the Community Clinic, you will be considered a new patient. A new intake form and interview will be necessary with appropriate fee.

Participation in our Sound Healing Acupuncture events or receiving ScarWork® does not confer acupuncture new patient status.  

                                             TREATMENT FEES:

Community clinic 

• First appointment - $60
• Follow up visits - sliding scale between $50 - $30

Private appointments

• New patient appointment - $150
• Follow up visits -  90 minutes = $125
• ScarWork® - $100

• Payment is due at time of service. Cash is preferred. A transaction fee will be charged for credit card payment. 
• A credit card is required to hold your first appointment. No charge will be incurred until the appointment.
• Returned check fee is what (each) bank charges us.
• Please arrive on time for your appointment. We cannot guarantee that you will be seen if you are more than 15 minutes late. You may then be subject to the cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

• Same day cancellation/no show fee for community acupuncture is up to $65. Same day cancellation/no show fee for private treatment is the cost of service. Fee will be charged to credit card on file.
• If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, we ask for 48 hours notice for a private appointment, and at least 24 hours notice for a community clinic appointment. No charge will be applied if the appointment can be filled. 

If you have more than 3 same day cancellations without rescheduling or 3 'no-show' appointments we will consider you no longer wish to be a patient and will archive your file.
